Accessibility Statement
How we build EV Technica to be usable by everyone.
■ A launch standard, not a retrofit
Our commitment
EV Technica is built to be readable and operable by everyone. Accessibility is a launch standard for this publication, not a retrofit: every page ships with semantic landmarks, a keyboard-operable navigation, and text that meets contrast targets.
What we do
- Keyboard first. Every control — nav, menus, forms — works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a skip-to-content link on every page.
- Semantic structure. Landmarks, headings in order, and real lists and tables — no divs pretending to be buttons.
- Contrast and color. Text targets WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios, and no meaning is carried by color alone.
- Reduced motion respected. The site honors prefers-reduced-motion and ships no autoplay motion.
- Readable type. Generous sizes, line length, and spacing; the site stays fully usable at 200% zoom.
- Honest imagery. This is a typographic publication; decorative elements carry no meaning, and any meaningful image ships with alt text.
Feedback
If something on this site is hard to use with your setup, tell us: contact@evtechnica.com. Accessibility reports are treated like corrections — answered and fixed in the open.
Standard
We aim for WCAG 2.1 level AA across the publication and test new templates against it before they ship.
