Electrify America takes its chargers white-label: ‘Powered by’ passes 100 stations
Retailers from Costco to Wawa now run their own branded fast chargers on Electrify America’s hardware and operations — nearly 600 chargers and counting.
Electrify America’s white-label program, “Powered by Electrify America,” has passed 100 stations and nearly 600 chargers, according to company figures reported in early October 2026. The program lets retailers — including Costco and Wawa — operate EV charging networks under their own brands, with Electrify America behind the scenes.
The split of responsibilities is the point: retailers own the charging equipment and control branding, pricing, site design and loyalty integration, while Electrify America handles site feasibility, permitting, construction, commissioning and maintenance. The hardware supports up to 350 kW and is being prepared for the NACS/J3400 connector. Electrify America says typical charging sessions last 20 to 30 minutes — dwell time retailers can convert into store visits.
The program, running since 2020, is being pitched to retailers as a turnkey shortcut into charging: Electrify America showcased it at the National Association of Convenience Stores show in Las Vegas, October 6–9. The white-label footprint remains small against the core network — more than 5,600 chargers at over 1,080 stations — but it is where the company’s growth story is now being told.
